A few years back Erik Qualman made a powerful video that put the staggering numbers of social media in a highly watchable format. Social Media Revolution is a classic.
What’s great about the video is you can show it to anyone who doesn’t comprehend the impact of social media – more specifically The Social Web – and in a few minutes after they watched it you could actually see the light bulb go on. He has since made a number of updated versions.

I enjoyed the list of links there…hilarious…1 in 3 burglars is an eBay powerseller…The thing about there being more social media experts than children under 5 in America made me almost believe it, because the “gurus” have truly taken over the asylum. On Friday I wrote a review of BJ Mendelson’s “Social Media is Bullshit” which you can read here: http://www.ticketliquidator.com/livetoast/2013/02/Book-Review-Social-Media-is-Bullshit-by-BJ-Mendelson.aspx if you’re interested. Articles like this, whether joking or not, are a breath of fresh air. I urge you to turn your assault onto SEOs next, for they are surely even more full of bullsh*t than the social media ninjas. Or is it sherpas, I forget…?
